Because of the extensive experience of its staff, Renaissance
is able to offer full Management Services from interim to long term.
Interim Management
A health care facility without consistent strong experienced
leadership runs the risk of rapidly deteriorating financial stability
and potential negative impact on the quality of care being provided.
Lack of leadership at the top for even a short time can impact physician
and employee morale, and in turn, the ability of the facility to
maintain its strength in the market, and carry out its mission.
Renaissance has the experience to provide interim leadership that
can not only maintain your facility’s strength, but identify methods
and act as a change agent to make improvements in operating efficiency
and quality of care. We provide an approach that will fit your
individual situation and objectives. This allows you the time needed
to select the most qualified and capable individual to lead your
facility on a long term basis.
Turnaround Management
Sometimes the survival of a health care facility requires immediate
and decisive action by individuals that have specialized experience
in such situations. Whether your facility is just not meeting performance
expectations or on the verge of bankruptcy, our staff of experienced
individuals can provide leadership that can deal with declining
physician and community support, employee morale, debt re-structuring,
vendors and the myriad of difficulties that can affect survival.
Should it be determined that the facility cannot become viable,
we have the expertise required to complete an orderly bankruptcy
and/or closing process.
Longer Term Management
Sometimes, a facility’s Board would like to retain control but
cannot attract or afford the array of specialized expertise required
to stabilize the operations, and develop and execute a plan for
long term stability.
This methodology often utilizes a three to five year management
agreement between the facility and Renaissance. Renaissance can
provide an experienced CEO or your present CEO can remain in place,
if mutually agreeable. In either case, the CEO reports to Renaissance
and Renaissance is responsible and reports to the Board or appropriate
governing authority.
Acquisition
Sometimes it becomes apparent that the only way a hospital can
survive and carry out its mission is through a change of ownership.
Renaissance has the resources to complete such a transaction – whether
to another entity or through acquisition by Renaissance.
